Adult Volunteers- Young Marine units are community-based programs lead by dedicated adult volunteers. Many of these volunteers are former, retired, active duty or reserve Marines who believe passionately that the values they learned as Marines had a positive impact on them. It does not matter which branch of service you were in or if you were not in the military, caring adults who would like to volunteer is what we are looking for. It is through these caring adults that Young Marines learn the inner values of Honor, Courage and Committment. Adult volunteers are individually screened by the National Headquarters based on background information and recommendations provided with each person's registration.

Must meet with Commanding Officer before filling out any forms for RAV to see which positions are open (if any) or where it may be possible for you to fit in our program. This interview process must happen FIRST.

Go to forms section for Registered Adult Volunteer Forms. Cost is only $40 to become a RAV. RAVs also may earn medals and awards for their volunteering efforts.

Fundraisers ! Each YM will also be able to fill certain Adult Volunteer positions as assistants and working closely with the Adult Volunteer who will be mentoring the YM.  This is designed to learn a sense of responsibility and Commitment within our unit
